Review:
On the Spectrum there are quite a few outstanding fighting games which include, Street Fighter, Renegade, IK+ and Yie Ar Kung-fu to name a few which i will review as time goes on.
Focusing on the excellent Way of the Exploding fist by Melbourne House. I love a good fighting game but sometimes you want more of a simulator and thats what I would call WOTEF.
The graphics and animation are beautiful with bright colourful backdeops and well animated sprites. The game is a little tough but worth practising as the reward is a very fun yet challenging game.
The game was obviously inspired on the 1984 Karate Kid movie and a good way to sell even more copies.
The only game that comes close but is less serious is IK+ which I enjoy too; please give this game gem a go.
